Protective boots for dogs. These accessories are always sold in sets of two. The protective boots shield your dog’s paws from the cold, moisture, infections, and injuries. This accessory can therefore be used after surgery, in case of injury, or simply for walking in the snow, for example… The boots are made of high-quality, water-repellent (hence the waterproof nature of these accessories), and washable; they fasten with Velcro straps. The boots are black and adjustable. Six sizes are available, depending on the breed and type of dog: Size S: Yorkshire Terriers, Toy Poodles, King Charles Spaniels, Miniature Dachshunds, … and any other dog of similar size Size M: Jack Russell Terriers, King Charles Spaniels (larger than the King Charles Spaniels mentioned above), "standard" dachshunds, whippets, Westies (West Highland White Terriers), pugs, French bulldogs, … and any dog of similar size Size L: beagles, border collies, bull terriers, cocker spaniels, "standard" poodles, … and any dog of a similar size to size XL: Boxers, Dobermans, Shepherds (German, Belgian such as the Malinois, Tervueren, Groenendael, Laekenois, Dutch Shepherds, …), Labradors, Golden Retrievers, and other retrievers (such as Flat-Coated Retrievers), setters, pointers, braques, … and any dog of a size equivalent to XXL: Great Danes and Great Danes, Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards, Wolfhounds, Mastiffs, Mastiffs, … and any dog of comparable size. All these size guides are provided by the manufacturer and are based on standard body types for each breed. If your dog is outside the norm (compared to the standards for a particular breed), we recommend choosing the next size up. One last thing: if you notice (or know) that your dog tends to chew on its paw or the boot, don’t hesitate to use an anti-licking collar to prevent infection or secondary infection (see the same section in our online store).
